Survey Report
The aim of this motif is to correspond the findings of a survey carried out in order to determine the semipublic opinion and performance of Lambshorne Town Council. The data included in this report was obtained from a random sample of 1,000 people.ServicesOn the whole, the ratepayers of Lambshorne expressed dissatis positionion with the go provided by the Council. A significant percentage felt that neither recall collection nor recycling facilities are adequate, as illustrated by the incident that everywhere half of those questioned felt that these are poor. On the other hand, a also large proportion of the public was of the opinion that maintenance of public buildings is satisfactory, which is shown by the fact that forty-nine per cent of those questioned expressed their approval. This is further emphasized by the fact that fifty-one per cent of those surveyed commented favorably on the restoration of the Corn stand in building.AmenitiesIt is generally felt that public fac ilities are of high standard, as shown by a large proportion of those surveyed expressed satisfaction with amenities. Furthermore, sixty-eight per cent of those questioned indicated the excellent condition of the new sport center. The fact that completely eleven per cent of respondents gave a negative response concerning public place indicates that ratepayers are mainly satisfied with its conditions. Opinion was mixed regarding other amenities, with an near equal number of Good and Poor assessments. In particular, thirty both per cent of those surveyed mentioned that Maplegrove Housing Estate needs more street lights.Council capacityOn the one hand, it is generally felt that lag efficiency is non adequate which is shown by the fact that majority of people expressed dissatisfaction with staff efficiency. On the other hand, the significant percentage of those who responded expressed satisfaction with represent efficiency of services. Opinion was mixed regarding the helpfulness of staff, with an almost equal dispersion of Good and Poor assessments. The sixty-four per cent of people were of the opinion that Council has too many employees for work done.RecommendationsOn the bases of the findings on services, it would seem that services provided by the Council need to be improved. The main weaknesses of services are the lack of balk collection and recycling facilities. As the assessments of amenities indicate, public parks and entertainment facilities are satisfactory. My recommendation is, therefore, that more street lights should be set up. found on the opinion regarding the efficiency, I would recommend that staff efficiency should be revised.
